Strawberry Shortcake

Summer is quickly approaching us. And we all know that means that our cooking and eating habits change. I'm a big fan of mexican and spicy foods in the summer time. As well, I absolutely love to grill, but since I live in an apartment, that means that I hit up the George Foreman grill instead. Well... we all know that delicious fruity desserts are the best thing in summer. Make a switch to something great....

You gotta try this! This is the best thing ever. Strawberry Shortcake. Please stop wasting your money on those crappy dessert shells at the grocery store. You know what I'm talking about. Those crappy sponge cake things that are absolutely flavorless. 

I must tell you that you have to switch to Bisquick. On the back of the Bisquick box you will find the best recipe for shortcakes! So delicious. I only have one recommendation! In addition to adding sugar to your strawberries (to draw out the juices and sweeten the strawberries), add some Orange Liqueur to the strawberries. (Triple Sec works fine). Enjoy! 

I know I'm never buying those nasty sponge cakes again!

An open question

What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?

I've had lots of strange foods through the years... so what I want to know is, what is the strangest thing you have ever eaten? Where were you? Did you like it? Would you recommend other's to try it?

The strangest thing I have eaten in recent memory was Conch meat in the Bahamas... it isn't really that strange, but it is the only thing I really remember. I have tried Indonesian, Thai, and many other strange foods... but this is all I remember right now. I like it and would recommend it... grilled not fried. If you get it fried, then it is just like any other fried seafood. I like my seafood grilled.

Sorry about the lack of blog posts. We now have 0 computers at home. Both mine and Raph's computers died within about 2 weeks of each other... which really blows.

I have a corrupted hard drive which means that it wont even turn on.

Raph can at least get into Safe Mode. I think I can fix his, but he wont really let me do the work I need to get it done successfully. Oh well. We are going to buy a new computer anyways... and a camera for our upcoming trip... which is what I will post about in my next update. Having a newer faster computer will rock, especially when the new Sims 3 game comes out!!!
